The traditional body model of the simulation system of dam concrete placementis numerical model. The numerical model need a lot of numerical input, and theprocess of getting the data is cumbersome, and the numerical model is fitted by manyfeature points which is not accurate enough. Considering of the problem aboutsimulation systems of dam concrete placement, the paper pays attention on thesimulation system of dam concrete placement based on AutoCAD, and the simulationsystem was developed with the.NET platform and AutoCAD automation technology.In the model, the numerical model was replaced by AutoCAD solid model. While thesimulation results can be demonstrated dynamically in AutoCAD, making simulationprocess and result visualization on the same platform. So we can set up the simulationmore easily and analyze the concrete placement process, and improve the efficiencyof the simulation model building.We choose a cable crane layout scheme with6cranes and double platformsaccording to the layout form of the arch dam, the slope condition and the condition ofthe crane machines in China. To improve the efficiency of the cable crane anddecrease the hanging level of the crane, the double feeding platform with differentelevations is selected. There is no study of this kind of condition in the high arch damsimulation. In this paper, we research on the simulation model of the layout schemecharacteristics for this project and on its basic pouring principles in order to providescientific supplementary means for the adjustment of the pouring scheme.The main research approach of this article is:1. Using the3D modeling technology of AutoCAD and computer simulationtechnology to build the real-time3D entity simulation system. Using the functionalmodules of AutoCAD to build the3D dam entity model containing the projectinformation which is able to improve the modeling efficiency.2. According to the characteristics of the project, we research in depth on thescheduling method the use, the interference when the cable cranes are in use and theuse of the double crane platform and put forward the corresponding simulation model.3. Using the Visual Studio2008.NET platform with the C#language, wedevelop the3D entity simulation system of the high arch dam. 4. We compare the results of different schemes and summarize the rules of dampouring to provide some guidance for actual operation and give reasonablesuggestions.
