Site is the carrier of architecture and human activity, with natural and culturaldual attributes, but also the interactive media of people, architecture and environment,site design relates to the quality of the building. Today, the architecture design"emphasis" architecture "despise" site, but also lack in-depth study of the site design,so it is necessary for the study of Site design. Site itself has a regional characteristic,but not all sites are designed starting from the regional characteristics, that not all sitesare designed regional site design. Architecture is the core elements of the site, site andarchitecture influence each other and interconnected in the expression of regionalcharacteristics, they’re an organic whole. So, in this article, the study for site design isunder the framework of contemporary regional architecture, from the perspective ofsite design to analysis, summarize contemporary regional creations based on naturalfactors and cultural factors design concept and coping style. And under the guidanceof the concept to extract the features of regional site design, but also the performanceof the specific elements and mode of operation, namely forms, materials andlandscape, to explain its association with the regional site design. Finally selectdomestic and foreign outstanding regional architecture works, analysis the ways ofsite design of each case from form selected, material used, landscape organization,finally summed three forms of regional site design. Regional site design is revealingthe nature and presentation of the site, is a continuation of the natural and humanspirit and redevelopment, but also permeated with humane care for users, contains aunique spirit of place. Hope this research on site design of contemporary regionalarchitecture to architectural design practice in the future has a guiding role.
