Study On The Broadening And Rebuilding Technology Of Common Main Stem Road

At present, highways and rural roads are paid more attention, but thedevelopment of common main stem road is neglected, resulting in the lag betweencommon main stem road and the needs of socio-economic development. In view ofthis, the road network structure of common main stem road is upgrading and thecapacity of highway and comprehensive service level of common main stem road areenhancing by the department of transportation in the twelfth five-Year period.Reconstruction and extension projects of the fifteen national highways are focused onto ensure the communication and convergence effect of common main stem road.The reconstruction and extension project of the common main stem road isdifferent from the new project. Because of the existing road restrictions, the fitting ofexisting routes, the splicing of both new and old roadbed, the splicing of both new andold bridge, and the resetting of levy land and traffic organization during constructionof the project are all should be considered. Therefore, the reconstruction andextension project of the common main stem road is facing far more complex issuesthan new projects.In this paper, the key technologies, such as the reconstruction and extension ofthe common main stem road, the splicing of both new and old roadbed and thesplicing of both new and old bridge, are all studied in the reconstruction and extensionproject of G205(Tianjin section) national road by considering the successfulexperience of G205national highway in other provinces and by using the finiteelement software Abaqus and Midas-civil. The design principles and methods of thereconstruction and extension project of the common main stem road are proposed byanalyzing the characteristics of the project. Finally, the key technologies and relatedprocessing scheme of the splicing of both new and old roadbed and the splicing ofboth new and old bridge are summarized successfully.
