Currently, the cars have entered the household, type of car, the brand is constantlyupgrading. However, the car’s soul, the power system has remained basically to thecontinuation of the traditional power structure of the system, with the car’s dynamicand continuously improve its fuel consumption and exhaust emissions are alsoincreasing, which is one of sustainable development threat.The main energy storage battery for electric vehicles to take energy storage, but itsfunction has obvious limitations due to the shortcomings of the battery itself, whichwill cause the car to the motor during operation of insufficient power supply, theacceleration, braking, battery short charge and discharge capacity are difficult,seriously affect the battery’s life. Based on the qualitative analysis of the battery, thebattery reached the advantages and disadvantages of this traditional energy storageelement, according to these disadvantages, the use of fuzzy control theory for rapidcharge and discharge the battery modeling and simulation.Super capacitor is a high-power, high-density energy storage power, which ischaracterized by fast charge and discharge, for frequent starting and braking, runningdistance requirements progressively larger contemporary electric car is essential. Butit also has some disadvantages, such as power supply voltage range, the energydensity is low. Therefore, to improve energy efficiency, to achieve efficient systemapplications and electric drive systems with regenerative braking speed operation andto promote the super capacitor electric vehicle technology the key to progress. Basedon the nature of the super capacitor analysis and research, derive a new equalizingcircuit design.This article will combine with the battery super capacitor constituting thecomposite power systems, to create a super capacitors, batteries and DC/DC model,and simulation results. Using more advanced adaptive fuzzy control methods can takeadvantage of high power density ultracapacitors and batteries high energy reservesadvantages of hybrid vehicles in the road to meet the various requirements. Both toimprove the protection of the battery capacity, but also to make electric cars have along-lasting power performance.
