Research On Enhanced Strategic Of ABC Airlines Safety Management

Safety is the eternal theme and the cardinal task for the civil aviation. Undoubtedly，establishing Safety Management System to ensure flight safety tends is more and moresignificant and necessary under the climate of world airline safety management. SafetyManagement System has being aimed to keep continuous improvement for the whole airlineindustry with safety policy， risk management， safety guarantee and safety improvement asthe four main supports. This essay, with ABC Airlines SMS construction as the example，aimsto retrospect ABC Airlines SMS construction fruits and take a full analysis on the strength、weakness、 opportunity and threats in the conduction of safety management using the analysistool SWOT by studying references and theories at home and abroad and the SMS theory.Compared with other airlines, the security data of ABC airlines reveals a low level of safetymanagement the reason of which will be systematically illustrated by using the fishbonediagram. According to the historical data of accidents and the actual operation of company，from the respective of above four main supports，there exposes some problems in the fields ofsafety performance management、 branch company management、 risk managementawareness、professional management talents、risk assessment and pre-warning system reportand safety culture construction the course of SMS conduction. Analyzing the cause ofmentioned problems the related plans and measures intended to improve the situation havebeen laid down. ABC Airlines contributes to the improvement of SMS and promoting thewhole level of safety management for the company by executing the following measures:ameliorating safety performance management system, management approach for branchcompanies, strengthening risk management awareness, professional management talents,improving risk assessment and pre-warning system as well as safety culture construction,which finally come to the consequence of making the example for the other airlines.
