Application Research Of The Indoor Greening Wall Of Large Public Space

Green and healthy indoor environment is pursued and yearned by modern people. The rapid development of city, the significant reduction of vegetation, cause the pollution of air, so that people come to realize the importance of the concept of green and sustainable. Now people prefer to be close to nature, take the nature to home, put plants in room, decorating interior space with natural materials, which is a performance of return and close to nature. With the increase of population, the land resources is becoming precious, the practice of planting species on the wall take attentions and love gradually.We take overview of the indoor greening wall, by the analysis of the research status and typical case of greening wall at home and abroad. According to the analysis of the characteristic and the source of major pollutants of indoor public space, the particularity of the indoor environment in public spaces, the present situation of the greening wall of indoor public space, the type and feature of the indoor greening wall, we summarize the design method and construction technology of indoor greening wall in Xi’an. Compare the advance of greening wall with other indoor air purification method, such as activated carbon and catalyzer, we know that the indoor greening wall not only can clean air, but also adjust the indoor temperature and humidity, reduce the electrical generated radiation, relieve eye fatigue and soundproofing, to improve indoor air quality. At the same time the greening wall will increase the green space, beautify the indoor environment, narrow the distance between people and nature, which reflect the mind of green design.In this paper, the air of indoor installation and uninstalled green wall system in Xi’an area four groups has been tested. According to the analysis result, factors are various that have resulted in the green wall system not being able to better improve the indoor environment, such as the area of the green wall system, the choice of plant species, artificial maintenance, light conditions, indoor temperature and humidity, etc. To solve these problems, as well as combining with the specificity of indoor environment of public space in Xi’an area, design methods and principles for wall greening are proposed,Rational use of,Make full use of plant characteristics for interior and create a natural atmosphere in the actual case,so that the botany system can give full play to its advantage and play a role in enhancing the indoor air quality.
