The revolutionary site of Yan’an Luxun College of Art was built in the1920s, ismore complete preservation, a large-scale modern architecture community of northernShaanxi. In1996, the site of the Sixth plenary meeting and Luxun Academy of Arts waspublished by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection units whichincluding44holes of stone cave, the Catholic church,15brick tiles. It is a major,comprehensive historical and cultural heritage, has a unique charm of the original truehistorical memory. The study of the revolutionary history, history of art and literature,the history of religion, and other aspects of the history of Chinese architecture has aprofound influence, the historical city of Yan’an is an important part of the integral.With the continuous improvement of living standards, the state increasinglyfocused on the construction of spiritual civilization, the protection and development ofrevolutionary site is also growing emphasis. Lu Yi revolutionary site as hundreds ofclassic red tourism attractions, to develop both an opportunity and a challenge of redtourism, how to balance conservation and scenic revolutionary site developedrelationships become increasingly important. Meanwhile, in the revolutionary historyand culture to fully exploit and utilize resources, Yan’an Revolutionary City as a wholewill be widespread concern of the community, there is130Revolutionary Sites nowonly the city of Yan’an which over168points, therefore, the study on Conservation,Planning and Design of Core Area in the Revolutionary Site of Yan’an Luxun Collegeof Art is particularly necessary.Based on the relationship between geographical environment characteristics andscenic features, the paper tried to figure out the best solution between natural environmental factors, social and human factors and the planning and design in the corearea which through the study on conservation, planning and design of core area in therevolutionary site of Yan’an Lu Yi,by way of example and qualitative research in orderto sum up a series of practical methods of built heritage conservation and utilization. Itis provided new ideas for the protection and development of the similar heritage whichshows the history and culture and extends its geographical characteristics through theinterpretation of its geographical characteristics.The paper described the purpose and significance of the protection of therevolutionary site. And summarize and analyze the use of the theory of today’s domesticand international protection of historical and cultural heritage. The present situation andthe way extended analysis applied to the revolutionary site, protection and utilization ofresearch summarized the current revolutionary site of our country. In the restoration ofthe revolutionary site of Yanan Luxun College of Art, the conservation scope andapproach, which jointly affect the plan of the restoration, are proposed based on thecurrent topography, land use, public accessibility, and preserving feasibility of the site,as well as its historical, present and future value. In order to deepen and implement theprotection of the Yanan Luxun College of Art, we summarized the methods andstrategies of its planning and design studies which combined with the objective andprinciples of the planning and design of core area in the revolutionary site of Yan’anLuxun College of Art.
