Along with the electric power vocation enhanced the requirement for breaker’sreliability, addition with the intellective power grid construction ideology brought byelectric department; the research of on-line monitoring equipment of high voltagebreaker has constantly progressed. There was a passel of molding on-line monitoringequipment used. After investigated, because the defective theory or monitoring objectwas selected irrationally, the low accurateness of analysis estimation for the activeequipments was brought out, their assistant function was reduced.The goal of the subject was to develop a kind of high voltage circuit breaker’s online monitoring device, whose monitoring parameters were reasonable and monitoringresults were accurate and reliable. This paper analyzed the main fault types, gotclassified monitoring content, and then get a reasonable amount of parameters. Theauthor brought forward the forecast arithmetic of the breaker’s work life which tookthe exact calculation of the arc’s burning time into account, improving the accuracy ofthe algorithm. The author used the full/half Fourier algorithm to calculate theamplitude and phase angle of the current, and used the discrete algorithms to calculatethe coil power’s consumption. On the hardware side, the author chose a suitable corefor the project, and completed the field data acquisition module design andcommunication interface’s timing choices. At last, the author marked the softwaredesign scheme as some parts of function module to introduce.The experiment confirmed that the equipment could inspect the breaker’smultimode parameter as the same time, which could afford on-line monitoring and thediagnose fault service. Its operation was easy to everyone. This article provided a kindof feasible resolvability scheme for on-line monitoring of the high voltage equipment,which accorded with the trend of the intellectualized transformer substation whichwas spread by State Grid.
