The emergence of rubber concrete provides a new way to solve the black pollution caused by waste tires. Existing research shows that the incorporation of rubber particles can cause the change of the strength and durability of the concrete. Modified rubber concrete, incorperated with rubber particles treated by modifier, its decrease of strength can be reduced and its durability can be improved.Based on the results of previous studies on the subject, this paper further studied on compressive strength and frost resistance of rubber concrete modified with Na OH solution、KH570 solution and composite modifier. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) Concrete incorperated with rubber particles presents lower compressive strength than common concrete. The smaller rubber particle size is, the greater the compressive strength decreased.(2) The analysis of compressive strength test on modified rubber concrete shows that the modification effect is greatly influenced by material source, material composition and production process of rubber particles.(3) The frost resistance of concrete can be improved by incorporation with rubber particles. Between three kinds of particle size of 60 mesh, 1-3mm and 3-6mm, 60 mesh powder improves the effect of frost resistance most.(4) Compared with the benchmark rubber concrete, the frost resistance performance of modified rubber concrete increases significantly. Between three kinds modifier of Na OH solution, KH570 solution and composite modifier, the effect of composite modifier is most significant.(5) After the molding of modified rubber concrete, stomata on specimen surface is more than benchmark rubber concrete. Analysis believes that the modifier introduced a large number of bubbles, which led to a decline in compressive strength, but a improvement in frost resistance. Therefore, compared with common concrete, regardless of strength, the frost resistance performance of rubber concrete and modified rubber concrete is improved.
