Based On The Backgroud Of Sponge City- Research On The Green Streets Planning

Water,the cradle of life, is closely related to the development of the city. But the symbiotic relationship between man, water and city has been fragmented by current unbalanced urbanization in China. A series of questions has been produced, such as stormwater pollution, urban waterlogging, water shortage and other issues. From the perspective of low impact development, this research explored the potential ecological function of the green streets in the management of rainwater. At the same time, it explored the function of reginal charcteristic and humanistic concern in the design of green streets.The main content of this research can be devided into three major parts:The principle of green streets development, the strategy of green streets design, and the facilities system of green streets.Firstly, based on the fact of the precent problems of streets, the research put forward three principle include the regional principle, the principle of ecological priority and humanistic concern.Secondly, it summarized the type of green streets design. Firstly this part put forward green modular construction approach of the green streets; secondly it lists three types of green streets comprehensive renovation strategy; finally it discussed the construction of the ecological parking lot strategy.Thirdly, the dissertation makes an analogy to the the facilities system of green streets.Conclusions are drawn as follows:Firstly, the Research extended the connotation of green streets which should take rainwater ecological management as the core function. At the same time it should include regional characteristics and the connotation of humanistic concern.Secondly, it elaborates that the integrated strategy of green streets. The strategy combined the roadway, sidewalks, parking lots, roads, landscaping, ground water treatment, underground water pipeline in an organic way, in order to play a collaborative work.Lastly, it expounds the inner order among the different facilities of green street rainoff management. The paper evaluated those facilities in service levels, the position of facility system, suitable scale management measures, etc. Providing the basis for the future water facilities choice of green streets.
