The purpose of this research is developing and probing a sort of virtual instrument detecting platform aimed at Automatic Parking Control System, which is built on the traditional testing technology and relied on the advantage of virtual instrument technology.In the process of researching, the paper analyses the research status of virtual instrument technology used in automotive field both in home and abroad firstly. After that, the paper makes an in-depth study on the organizational structure and operating principle of Automatic Parking Control System, propounds a generalized concept of Automatic Parking Control System during the research and development on virtual instrument detecting platform. The detecting platform uses sensors’ output signal as the entry point to detect the control system.Considering the idea of low-cost, the paper chooses a CAN interface card of ZLG and a USB Multifunction DAQ of MCC during the design of lower computer. The CAN interface card collects the output signal of steering angle sensor. The USB Multifunction DAQ collects the output signal of ultrasonic sensor and temperature sensor and wheel speed sensor. There is a pre-processing circuits used to handle the output signal of the wheel speed sensor before the USB Multifunction DAQ.The Data Acquisition Equipment of lower computer can make a communication with upper computer by USB-bus. The paper chooses LabVIEW to write the program of upper computer, including Main Interface, serial communication and acquisition of CAN signal.After the whole design of detecting platform is completed, the paper has a test of the platform, which is turned out to meet the intended functions.The concept of this detecting platform can be transplanted to other Automobile electronic control system and have a good performance in new items with a profound understanding of the detecting platform.
