With the constantly advancing of railway construction in our country,the further development of Passenger Dedicated Line will be in these difficult and dangerous mountain areas with high seismic risk.The natural conditions of these areas are complex;the seismic load is random,accidental and capricious;so the stability of subgrade slope under seismic action becomes very complicated.The research has important theoretical significance and has important guiding role for the construction of Passenger Dedicated Line.In this paper,a systematic study is conducted on the failure location,failure mechanism and failure types.Analysis the factors for the stability of subgrade slope.Use finite element software ABAQUS to simulate cutting slope and embankment slope,get seismic stability evaluation index in it.Use finite element software ABAQUS to simulate cutting slope in Chengdu-Chongqing Passenger Dedicated Line.Under the seismic action,the shallow weathering fissure developes and gets largerjoint developes quickly and the subgrade slope occurres shear destruction finally.The retaining wall makes the plastic yield region smaller,delays the emergence of the plastic yield region and transfixion region. At given horizontal depth, the shear stress reduces while the the relative height from the foot increases;At given height, the shear stress reduces while the horizontal depth increases from the slope surface.After the seismic action, the shear stress is smaller than before in shallow slope.Along the slope height, the seismic peak accelerations have different degrees of amplification.Take the design data of Chengdu-Lanzhou Passenger Dedicated Line as the bases; establish the embankment slope calculation model of Zhenjiang Guang Station yard. After the seismic action, the plastic strain amount increases nearly tenfold.Toe occurres shear destruction more easily than the top.Along the horizontal depth, the shear stress increases first and then decreases.the left shear stress is bigger than the right.The stability evaluation index of subgrade slope reduces; at given slope, the stability evaluation index reduces while slope height increases; at given height, the stability evaluation index reduces while slope increases.On the basis of simulation and analysis, some corresponding engineering advice is proposed.
