At present, the production management model has many shortcomings in the railway transport organization. Furthermore, according to the fiercely competitive transportation market, if the status quo is not improved by the railway sector, they it will be eliminated by the market. Confronted with the present situation, the railway company decided to conduct put a serial of fundamental reform into effect. Under the condition of the Railway Freight Transportation Reform, the new demand to the development model of Railway Freight Transportation is provided.Firstly, the freight market environment and the lack of traditional products of Railway Express Freight Transportation is analyzed. Besides, the necessity and feasibility of railway express freight transportation development are pointed out. Thus, it provides some policy recommendations and development ideas in carrying out railway fast freight.
