Linear induction motor (LIM) metro vehicle driven by linear induction motor as a way of urban rail transit vehicles, which has advantages such as adhesion-independent, simple structure, lower overall height, good climbing performance, curve passing ability and low noise, is suitable for cities with complex terrain conditions. Three-dimensional electromagnetic forces (longitudinal, vertical and lateral electromagnetic force) produced between the primary and secondary of LIM which mounted by LIM metro vehicle and track, respectively, while achieving traction and breaking, may influence the dynamic performance of LIM vehicle.Firstly, the theory and the calculation methods of three-dimensional electromagnetic forces of LIM are analyzed in this thesis, and the method of calculating longitudinal and vertical electromagnetic force is analyzed emphatically by using T equivalent circuit, and the LIM characteristic curves of three-dimensional electromagnetic forces of some real vehicle are introduced. Then the effects of different suspension modes of LIM on the bogie performance is introduced, and the structure characteristics of the MKâ…¡ bogie and BM3000-LIM bogie are analyzed in detail.Secondly, according to its structure characteristic and control law of LIM metro vehicle, the dynamics model of LIM metro vehicle and the electromagnetic force control model are established respectively with dynamic software SIMPACK and mathematical analysis software MATLAB/SIMULINK. The dynamic performance of LIM metro vehicle under the action of the electromagnetic force is analyzed by the co-simulation method of SIMPACK and MATLAB/SIMULINK, and compared with the result by the traditional method without regard to the electromagnetic force. The feasibility of co-simulation method is verified, meanwhile come to the following conclusions:1, INFLUENCE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FORCE ON STRAIGHTLINE DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE OF LIM METRO VEHICLE:1) Wheelset Lateral Force:electromagnetic force tends to make the wheelset lateral force large when the speed is lower than 40 km/h, and make it small when the speed is higher than 40 km/h, which is more obvious as the speed increases.2) Stability:Considering the influence of LIM electromagnetic force on the lateral stability than vertical stability influence is more significant; and within the scope of the normal operation of the speed, the lateral stability is worse than that without regard to the electromagnetic force.3) LIM Lateral Vibration:within the scope of the normal operation of the speed, the electromagnetic force has little effect on the lateral vibration acceleration of LIM.4) LIM Vertical Vibration:the electromagnetic force makes the maximum vertical vibration acceleration smaller when the speed is 40 km/h, but it will also add a resonant frequency of 8.8 Hz; within the scope of the normal operation of the speed, the electromagnetic force has a positive effect on reducing the maximum of LIM vertical vibration acceleration.5) LIM Longitudinal Vibration:the amplitude of LIM longitudinal acceleration when considering the effect of electromagnetic force is twice as the amplitude without regard to the effect of electromagnetic force when the speed is 40 km/h, but it will also add a resonant frequency of 3.3 Hz; LIM longitudinal acceleration when considering the effect of electromagnetic force is greater than that without regard to the effect of electromagnetic force.6) Air Gap:the effect of electromagnetic force on LIM air gap can be neglected.2, INFLUENCE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FORCE ON CURVE PASSING DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE OF LIM METRO VEHICLE:1) Derailment Coefficient:the electromagnetic force makes the derailment coefficient decrease.2) Rate of Wheel Load Reduction:the electromagnetic force makes rate of wheel load reduction decrease in curve passing conditions.3) Stability:the electromagnetic force makes vehicle stability better.4) Vehicle Wheel/Rail Wear:the electromagnetic force makes the vehicle wheel/rail wear increase.5) LIM Lateral Vibration:the effect of electromagnetic force weakens LIM lateral vibration.6) LIM Vertical Vibration:for curve passing working condition 1, the electromagnetic force makes the RMS value and the maximum value of the LIM vertical vibration acceleration smaller; and for curve passing working condition 2 and 3, the electromagnetic force makes the RMS value and the maximum value greater.7) LIM Longitudinal Vibration:the electromagnetic force has little effects on the longitudinal vibration of LIM.8) Air Gap:the effect of electromagnetic force on LIM air gap can be neglected.
