The Research And Development Of Safety Operation And Training System Of Oil Tanker Based On Virtual Reality Technology

Due to oil tanker safety operation is crucial, safety training is necessary for students before on oil tanker since improper operation can easily cause combustion, explosion and pollution. It is because traditional training is abstract to understand and a lot of operation is restricted, and its training costs is high, that traditional training can not achieve very good effect for the security of the students.it proposed oil tanker safety operation based on virtual reality technology, which can fix these problems effectively and develop pure software simulator meeting the training requirements has great practical significance.This research describes a flexible applying of modeling and simulation technology in oil tanker safety operation based on virtual reality technology, to develop a pure virtual software of safety operating system of oil tanker. This system adopts 3ds max as modeling software, The system introduces the modeling methods and modeling principles used in modeling of oil tanker’s inertial system, crude oil washing system, cargo handling system, shower system in 3ds max, and do lighting, material, texture, and render processing to make the model more realistic. Unity 3D as the simulation software, we import them into the Unity 3D. in Unity 3D, we build virtual operation training scene and use Java Script high-level programming language to implement to the object of study of virtual operating in the human-computer interaction interface. we use SQL Server as the database management system, design training algorithm,realize online training, do save for the safety operation of data designed simulation system of oil tanker safety operation, students operate on the interface operation, given the final score according to the evaluation criteria of each system operation, it can eliminate the effects of artificial subjective factors on the performance and objectively and fairly reflect the true level of students.The developed oil tanker safety operating system has low economic cost, can be repeatedly and flexibility, conform the requirements of convention tanker safety training. Has the very good practical significance and market value.
