Urban rail transit provides a fast mode of transport for people travel and effectively mitigates a series of problems caused by large population pressure. The vigorous development of the urban rail transit industry, need a lot of related professional skills. The construction of urban rail transit lab will help students to master the operation condition and scheduling management, provide skills training for Urban rail transport various professionals.Combining with the typical stations of Chengdu Urban Rail Transit Line 1, this paper determines the distribution of the main line and station on the Sand Table. The simulation of the Sand Table’s signal, switch machine and the train positioning equipment was researched and developed. This paper determines the type and marshalling of the simulation train, functions of the each control module of the simulation train. To realize the linkage between the hardware devices of the Sand Table and the operation control system, this paper designs and realizes the communication and interface system.Based on the research of zone control, this paper designs and realizes functions of train management, timer management, fault setting of equipment and trouble shooting. In order to ensure many simulation trains operation in accordance with train diagram, this paper designs and realizes functions of train working diagram, automatic generation of train number and automatic control of route based on the research of Zone Controller. Metro Vehicle Depot system is track circuit simulation system. Based on the interlocking relationship of signal, switch machine and route, this paper designs and realizes functions of power on unlocking, route control and route cancellation and unlock.This paper designs the train driving simulation platform based on the Communication Based Train Control operation mode. First, this paper initializes the train including determine the direction of train operation, the train operation mode which is up or down direction and the methods of the train’s power up. Second, when the Simulation Train entering into section and main line after the Simulation Train have run out of the Metro Vehicle Depot. This paper designs the controllable motor of the simulation train to ensure that the simulation train can synchronous running according to the manipulation of driving simulation platform. The simulation train needs to switch different drive mode during the operation. So the driving mode handle, traction handle and function buttons of the simulation train system are designed. The TOD of simulation train need to display different parameters during it’s running. The requisite display content and simulation flow are designed.According to the simulation requirements, simulation realization of ATC system is realized by using C#. This paper realizes the operating flow such as creating train, train initialization, driving mode conversion, power on unlocking of Metro Vehicle Depot, train retrieval operation, running on main line, train working diagram, train withholding in station platform and train jump stopping.The application of Urban rail transit operation and control platform meeting the requirements of the laboratory of soft and hard platform interface has stronger practicability.The results can provide some theoretical and implementation reference for the building of Urban rail transit relevant experimental platform.
