Trajectory correction means make the projectile reach the designated area by controlling the correction mechanism work to change the projectile trajectory in the flight process, one dimension trajectory correction projectile has become the research hot point because of the advantages of simple structure, low cost, has a certain accuracy and high cost efficiency.At present, most correction fuze has the defects of complex structure, difficult processing and weak correction capability, this paper proposed a design scheme of one-dimensional trajectory correction mechanism based on GPS for mortar shell, and the GPS positioning test on the prototype was taken.Based the actual launching environment of projectile, transient dynamic simulation analysis was conducted with Workbench software to correct the emission intensity of the projectile, the strength of the key parts was analyzed.Flow field numerical analysis of the projectile before and after correction was conducted with FLUENT software, the aerodynamic performance of mortar projectile was analyzed, the forced air drag coefficient of the projectile was calculated, the forced air resistance coefficient curves of the mortar projectile were fitted out by using Logistic curve and polynomial curve.The trajectory equation of the mortar projectile was solved with the four order Runge Kutta method, trajectory characteristics before and after correction and the trajectory correction ability of mortar projectile correction were analyzed, a fast, high precision and reliable algorithm was put forward to solve the opening time of the damping sheets, and instance was simulated with a certain type of mortar shell as object.The concept of trajectory correction based on terrain matching was proposed, the algorithm to solve the open time of damping sheets of one-dimensional trajectory correction in different terrain was studied, the simulation was conducted with a certain type of mortar shell as object of different terrain, the conclusion was received that for one dimension trajectory correction with the target and the launch point are not in the same plane, in order to achieve the better hit precision, the height difference between the target and launch point and the terrain slope should be as small as possible.The above research results indicate that the correction mechanism can make the trajectory of mortar shell get effectively corrected.
