| In recent years, more and more local traffic departments have adopted advanced information transmission system. Mobile communication technology in vehicle real-time transmission and information gathering is increasing. The goal of this paper is to establish an efficient and practical highway information transmission system, which combining the specialization of local roads and long distance transmission of real-time to realize intelligent traffic information management.In this paper we take the highway charge management information system in remote areas of Inner Mongolia for the study background, and fully understand the tasks goal of the improved system base on actual demand and the design is completed. This system combines GPRS with Internet, and introduces a method base on.NET Framework, VB.NET and SQL Server. Firstly, we compare the current situation of the highway development between china and foreign countries, introduce an application overall system model based on the region situation. This system is designed by a combination method of software and hardware, and the communication technology application in highway information transmission, designed a transmission system which use wireless mode and cable mode:wireless transmission mode for the information between sub-center and toll station; the cable transmission mode for the information between sub-center and monitoring center.Finally, we tested the whole system, the information among toll station, charge center and monitoring center has been transmitted timely, and furthermore the goal of the improved system is set and the general design is completed. |
