Transformer automatic cable winding machine is the special equipment used for windingtransformer coils.This topic is commissioned by the SENREG electric equipmentlimitedcompany tosimplifythe traditional transformer winding complex mechanical structure, to learn from the advanced design ideas of domesticated foreign automatic wire winding machine and to design a stable and reliable automaticwire winding machine of 800 V-A and below transformer high voltage coil.The control mode of the system in the winding machine used for winding spindle motorservo drive device and cable separation. The FX3U-8MT of PLC Mitsubishi Co is the controller in the main control system and Siemens Smart Line 700 IE touch screen is a tool as man-machine interactive.Both of them complete coil winding, production parameter setting, running state monitoring and alarm processing production control task.The winding spindle adopts constant tension inverter drive, and use the rotary encoder to count the winding turns automatically. Cable system adopts servo drive servo motor drive and composes the servo system with spindle motor.Through the smooth rotation of PLC program control the servo motor spindle with cable to follow the spindle rotation movement smooth and accurate and the line effect uniform and compact.Meanwhile the accuracy of the cable is up to ±0.01mm. What’s more, the spindle speed can reach the highest 200r/min, significantly improve the efficiency of winding. The PLC programming system can realize the control of the execution unit, other components of the external data exchange, control algorithm and data processing etc.The procedures used in the rational thinking to solve the the problem of error accumulation of cable.Precise control of the winding turns is achieved by successive approximation method.When the winding cumulative turns close to the set number of turns,the spindle motor at low speed stage reaches the set number of turns gradually.This can not only improve the accuracy of the transformer’s each layer and each section turns, but also can enhance the efficiency of winding. In view of the production parameters of different coil, Author writes the PLC program of coil preservation and displayand configures the corresponding configuration screen.This saves the time of coil input parameters and reduces the labor intensity of input parameters.The operating system for different winding products is able to change the relevant parameters in the control system and the winding productsin the premise of keeping original mechanical parameters so that the mechanical structurecomplexity, winding quality can be improved significantly.In addition,the transformer winding machine mechanicalstructure,production process,selection of the control system hardware configuration and connection and man-machine interface is introduced in this paper.Finally, author describes the problems in the debugging process and solutions of the corresponding debugging of the control system.
