The increasing growth of load, environmental protection, the efficiency of energy using and the users’high standard requirements on power quality have become worldly serious challenges that power industries all around the world are faced with. The development of low carbon economy and the exploitation of clean renewable energy resources have become important strategies for the sustainable development of economy and society throughout the world. Distributed generation based on new energy, which supplies power to load, can greatly reduce the line loss, save the investment on the construction of power transmission and distribution. And it can be complementary to main power supply. It is the ideal way to provide users with reliable and high quality electricity by the comprehensive use of existing resources and equipment. In this case, many countries begin to develop distributed power generation and try to take the greatest advantages of distributed power generation in economy, energy and environment.This thesis mainly studies the relevant technologies to Islanded Microgrid monitoring system. First of all,the thesis analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the structure of different micro power grid, and makes a comprehensive plan for the building of hardware platform of micro network system according to the requirements of the project. The system in which the lead-acid battery is the main device, and the hierarchical control scheme is adopted helps the whole micro network’s monitoring, adjustment and optimization by the main chip MSP430.Secondly, this thesis deeply analyzes the composition, function and working principle of micro network monitoring system. We use the hall element and ADE7755 to finish the data acquisition of electrical information. And by the environment monitor sensor EC-9S、TBQ-2, we realize the meteorological information monitoring. Systems communication uses the Modbus RTU mode. The Modbus communication protocol supports the traditional RS-232, RS-485 and Ethernet device, so the protocol is widely used in data acquisition and process monitoring.Thirdly, we have completed the development and design of monitoring system software.The monitoring system software is divided into user management, main control module, environmental monitoring, curve analysis, data reporting and system alarms. Also, we use the MySql database to manage the data and user information of the Islanded Microgrid System.Finally, we complete the Islanded Microgrid System performance test. By running the experiment, we summarize the overall performance of the control system.This article has important significance on the practical application in Islanded Microgrid System.
