In order to explore the experience and mode of the construction of Hebi city distribution automation, and to solve some certain problems existing in the process of Hebi’s distribution automation construction, this article takes use of the construction of Hebi city distribution automation as the research object, and analyzes the related problems existing in the construction of distribution automation, then analyzes and summarizes Hebi city distribution automation terminal test work which the author is participated in, and focuses on the the problem of infeasible solution existing in the traditional genetic algorithm of distribution network reconfiguration, finally comes up with an improved method.This article, firstly, analyzes the Hebi city current situation and existed problems of the distribution automation construction, goal of its construction, the design principles and the application scheme. And, summary and analysis the FTU, DTU and fault indicator field testing work in Hebi distribution automation which the author is participated in, and expound the test data, problems in the test process, and the solutions. At the same time, further analysis the reasons of the infeasible solution of traditional genetic algorithm when using it in the Network reconfiguration calculation, and make improvements for its crossover and mutation process, put forward that: use the same equivalent length chromosome to cross and randomly distribute the disconnected switch point position in the process of mutation, to reduce the number of infeasible solution, and use the breadth-first search algorithm to avoid remaining infeasible participating in iterations, to guarantee the feasible solution for network reconfiguration, and significantly improve the computational efficiency. Respectively use the traditional method and the improved method on IEEE33 node test system for network reconfiguration calculation, verifying the effectiveness of the improved algorithm. Finally, aiming at the problem: part of the line section switch distribution is not reasonable and load transfer cannot come true in Hebi distribution automation, use the improved network reconfiguration genetic algorithm in the network reconfiguration calculation, to get the reasonable reconfiguration scheme.
