The energy shortage is the restricting short board of social and economic development, the rational use of energy is the principle that must adhere to for sustainable human development. In China under the background of rapid economic development, the disposable energy consumption increased dramatically and building energy consumption accounts for about 30% of the total social energy consumption. This proportion has sustained upward trend so the energy saving has great potential in the construction field, to further accelerate the construction of resource-saving and environment- friendly society and the security of our country energy security is of great importance. In building energy consumption, rural housing due to the economic, scientific and technological level limit, building energy consumption level has been high so it has great energy saving potential and will be the focus of the future work of building energy-saving.Under the background of the rapid development in energy-saving building materials, the straw fiber reinforced concrete block as a new wall self insulation materials to be widely used in hot summer and cold winter area to meet the needs of the reform of wall has broad market and application prospects. In this paper, a series of studies has been done to provide the experimental basis and the numerical simulation basis for the block to be widely used inrural residence engineering. The research of straw fiber reinforced concrete block is of great academic value, engineering significance and economic benefits.Due to the change of farmers’ way of life in recent years, a large number of crop straws are piled up and burned, it has become the major source of PM2.5 and caused a serious threat on people’s health. Huang Huai Hai region village building adopts the common sintered clay brick, concrete hollow block and other blocks, clay brick is consuming a lot of energy and land resources and the thermal performance of ordinary concrete hollow block is poor. Therefore, the development and utilization of straw fiber reinforced concrete block this new energy-saving building materials, to reduce the heat transfer, to reduce building energy consumption, to achieve energy saving and environmental protection has important significance.To solve the above problems and the present situation, the research group carry out a lot of research work to produce green insulation materials, improve the rural building thermal environment.The object of this paper is to research the new energy saving building-- straw fiber reinforced concrete block building, through the test to determine the coo ling consumption indicators, the heating electricity consumption, the insulation performance and the moisture absorption performance of straw fiber reinforced concrete block buildings. The earlier stage mainly through the through the experimental study, the simulation analysis of the experiment through the independent development of C hina’s construction simulation software DeST, analyzed the insulation performance of straw fiber reinforced concrete block buildings. And analysis the impact of the storey height, the orientation of the building, window wall ratio, window type and wall material on building energy consumption by DeST.I hope that this study can provide theoretical basis and engineering application value to carry out the work of building energy saving in cold region and the hot summer and cold winter area.
