With, the rapid development of science and technology and the steady accumulation of manufacturing process research, especially to the computer technology, communication technology and electronic technology, manufacturing technology, and the development of technology, lead to the continuous development to the industrial production level of automation technology. PLC (programmable controller) as a professional automation equipment used in industrial environment, has the characteristics of strong anti-interference ability and stability, occupy the important position in the field of industrial control. Using the integrated automation plane and the industrial automation system of the robot with PLC based has become a mode for modern enterprise to seek industrial upgrading and transformation of the mode of production, improve efficiency, reduce production costs, which is a focus in the research direction in the field of industrial automation.The analysis and research were carried on in this thesis to the current air conditioning production line automation of the production assembly process problem, and an automation control system of air conditioning was designed to meet the modern industrial production. The Siemens PLC S300 was adopted as controller core of this system. On one hand, a solution on specific processes to the specific technology was put forward, which combining with the characteristics of air conditioning automatic production line production process and analyze, process and technical feasibility study, such as realizing automation to vacuum test workstations and pallet transfer station. On the other hand, the system overall framework and the software and hardware were designed. The hardware design includes:The selection of the device such as the type of PLC, touch screen, sensors, etc. Electrical circuit design such as for power system, vacuum subsystem, the hardware circuit design and analysis of pallet transfer system working principle. To enhance and improve the anti-interference ability of system, a method to eliminate the power interference, control system, external wiring interference effect the operation of the system was put forward. It includes positioning/isolated subsystems, power system, exception alarm system, output statistics, software programming of automation production line equipment linkage system, system hardware circuit configuration, monitoring interface, alarm system, configuration such as login interface software and so on, and the whole system was integrated through PROFIBUS-DP field bus communication mode, to implement the air conditioning automatic production line assembly, testing, packaging, and other links can be monitored in the whole process of automation.This project was applied to automatic production line control system of air conditioning to realize the real-time monitoring of the automated production line production data for effectively design to the parameters of the assembly, testing, assembly process, and the system also has the upper monitoring and remote function which can realize the data remote transmission. The designed PLC based control system has strong comprehensive, high cost performance, etc. Through this project integrated debugging, it implemented the automation of the multiple assembly assignments. And this thesis provides a design thought for other automatic production lines and unmanned application.
