Energy shortage is becoming more and more serious with the rapid growth of population, this problem has become the focus around the world. The mighty ocean stored rich resources. But now, the poor exploitation situation need to be improved urgently. We can see that more and more countries are looking into the blue ocean, especially for the deep sea level. Because of the key role in deep sea exploitation, dynamic positioning technology has become one of the hottest research point recently.Ship Dynamic Positioning System refers to the ship overcome the external interference (wind, wave or subterranean flow) from surroundings on its own power so that suspended in the location already set or sailed by the default course. Moreover, an elegant and easy-operated interface is indispensable for the dynamic positioning system and a perfect one should be able to clearly displayed information which interested by manipulator so that control the ship conveniently, accurately and timely.In this paper,the main work is to develop a friendly,beautiful,convenient manipulation used in simulation platform of ship dynamic positioning laboratory. The main content are as follows:(1)Considering the manipulation interface is developed for laboratory’s dynamic positioning platform, firstly we should know the laboratory’s hardware environment and the existing control system structure;Then demand analysis should be carried out, and get the manipulation Interface’s basic use case diagram in the view of operator, clear the function which the interface need to implement; Then carries on the overall design for manipulation interface,manipulation interface can be divided into communication module,interface framework module,display module three subsystems according to the operation function, draw the interface function structure diagram and the flow chart of program’s overall operation.(2)The key to manipulation interface is the design of the instrument.Here we use the powerful graphics programming functions about Visual c++,to design and implement the velocity instruments, environmental instruments, ship’s position monitoring interface, display interface and location graph module, and we well solved flashing problem in the main interface window and jump ship problem in the monitoring interface.(3)Operating manipulation interface to test the system, system test includes functional test, pressure test and recovery test. Through designing the interface of each module,we can verify whether the system realize the function demand. In the long period of time about functional test, the system has been running smoothly, and there is little error condition occurred, we should say this programs are excellent enough about pressure and fault tolerance, which meet the demand of the design about manipulation interface.
