Research On The Key Technology Of Knowledge Management Platform In Packaging Design

Design of packaging product is characterized by intensive knowledge, strong experience and long cycle. So it is important to manage packaging experience, knowledge acquisition, knowledge reuse effectively, which can improve the quality of packaging design and reduce the design cycle. To address the problems, this paper proposes a novel packaging design platform based on a packaging company. In this paper, the research contents include:(1)Research on the method of mapping customer demand. Based on the customer demand, techniques for mapping customer demand to properties of packaking design are studied with AHP and QFD.(2)Research on the knowledge representation of packaging design based on ontology. The paper constructs the concepts, attributes, constraints, rules and instances though the toolof protégé, and realizes the knowledge representation of packaging design with OWL language.(3)Research on the knowledge reasoning and knowledge query based on ontology. The paper bulids queries combined with inference rules. The queries are appied to filter cases that meet priority of the rules.(4)Case study. The design of knife packaging of corrugated carton is taken as example. The proposed methods are verified.The result shows the method used in the packaging design field is capable of improving the packing design quality.
