| In recently years, China’s economy with the rapid development and urbanization process, the traffic demand surge, lack of road transport facilities supply, management, technical means such that the traffic demand and supply of the city have become increasingly prominent contradiction. China’s city with more people but less land, less cars and more roads, centralizing facilities shortage of land, the characteristics of frequent activity, which determines land resources available for urban transport is extremely limited. The end of the 1980 s, some developed countries have proposed construction of an integrated transport system of strategic thinking in order to resolve this contradiction.The information integration of Public transport is the city public transport infrastructure into a unified management, intelligent transportation system is the highest form of information management. Information integration of urban public transport is an important part of the city to promoting public transport information process. On the basis domestic and foreign research, and do with the survey analysis to China’s behalf of western city, get some experience and found that some of the problems, at the same time,point out the development trend of information technology in public transport and transformation of traditional transit need reach the requirements, and make its analysis. On this basis put forward design goals and principles of the integration of urban public transport information, the protection of public transportation information technology relevant system, to obtain a more reasonable urban public transport information integration framework design, list the specific program of measures, from the physical support platform, application support platform, system design three aspects supplement.
