Study On The Operation Plan Of Small-Sized And Express Freight Transportation

With the deepening of the economy development and the industrial structure adjustment, the demand of Chinese freight transportation market has great changes which mainly reflect in two aspects of transport object and quality. The category structure of transport object has been changed a lot that the ratio of the freight with specialties of" small volume, multi variety, multi batch, short cycle and high added value" increases rapidly in transportation market. On the other hand, the freight-owner’s demands for the transportation efficiency, safety and convenience have been improved further. Meanwhile the competition pattern of transport market has gradually changed. Other higher degree of marketization modes of transport, like highway, water and airtransport, give greater competitive pressures to the railway, for that the railway freight’s share of transport market has decreased year by year, while whose volume and freight turnover continued rising.In order to meet the transport needs changes and to improve the competitiveness of the railway market, Railway Corporation reformed freight transport organization in 2013 July, with a series of reform measures like loading organization of real goods, accepting carriage at anytime, and also launched a number of express freight products like high-speed rail express, express cargo trains. Under the background of the freight transport organization reform, the research goes on with the studying to improve the operation plan for exited small and fast freight trains, which as follow:1. The thesis analyses our country express market demand respectively from the goods categories and properties, volume of freight traffic and conditions of carriage. It also studies express train’s product types and characteristics of the transport organization of our country. Under the current situation that the market share of the small-sized and express freight trains in our country is low. The SWOT shows the problems existing in the product and analysis the development potential of it.2. In the analysis of the small-sized and express freight trains’operational features, it puts forward trains operation principles. Considering influence factors such as sourcing organization, network capacity, transportation costs, it analysis to determine the trains’ operation section, type, operation time, etc. Establish a dispatching plan model with the target of maximum transportation benefit and minimum time cost to optimize the number and stop of express trains.3. Take the Jingjinji cargo express trains for case analysis. On the basis of the data of north central clockwise (X492/1) and the reverse (X482/1), the thesis puts forward a more optimal dispatching plan.
