Railway Express Freight Product Optimization And Design

With the transformation of China’s economic growth mode, Social logistics demand and the high value-added products transport market are growing fast, and the transport service quality requirements are continuing to increase. In recent years, high-speed railway network construction continues to improve and passenger and freight lines are separate gradually, this release a lot of railway transport capacity. Based on this, railway should adjust the express freight transport to improve the market competitiveness. Therefore, this paper make the maximization of economic benefit of the express freight transport as the starting point, through data analysis, theoretical explanations and practical summary of the express freight structure and service quality study deeply.This paper studies the content of the following aspects:(1) Focusing on the development trend of express freight railway products, explained the research status of the product structure and express freight railway transport benefits, analyzes the necessity of express freight railway product structure optimization.(2) Studied the basic theory and the existing freight product system of the express freight transport. Deeply analyzed the freight category price factors that affect the effectiveness of freight transportation. Introduced the new product of express freight transport named Cargo Express Train circumstance and its background.(3) Analyzed the factors that affecting the express freight transport product structure, based on the freight product design methodologies and transportation efficiency, combined with the Cargo category and freight price factors, built the freight product structure optimization model. At the same time, added the transportation service quality factors to the constraint condition, used the dynamic programming algorithm to get the optimal solution, based on this, get the optimize structure of the express freight product that is focusing more on the new service concept.(4)In the case study section, this paper use the express freight product structure optimization model and algorithm to solve and analyze the result, based on the local action data provided by the X railway bureau. Finally we get the fast freight product prioritization scheme, then, we get the biggest freight benefit, and prove the feasibility of the model and algorithm.This paper shows that in the process of railway freight reform, we can improve the freight benefit using the adjustment of express freight product and the promotion of the transportation service.
