Because of the development of our economy and the change of its structure,the demand of express freight is growing rapidly,and the service quality of express freight transportation is also put forward higher requirements.At the same time,with the development of society and the popularization of people's environmental awareness,more and more people realize the importance of low-carbon.As a major energy consumer,the government also put forward mandatory requirements for the CO2 emissions of transportation industry.The objective of designing service network is to maximize the interests of both sides of the service and realize the dual objectives of enterprise service and operation efficiency by making reasonable operational strategies and organizing production activities of transportation in a planned way.Therefore,on the basis of summarizing and analyzing the existing research results of express freight transportation,low-carbon transportation and service network design.Through comparison and analysis this paper studied the service network design of the railway express freight transportation on the background of the low-carbon.The research consists of the following three aspects:?1?Analysis of railway express freight transportation system and influencing factors of service networkOn the basis of concepts of railway express freight transportation,low carbon and service network,first of all,the classification and characteristics of railway express freight products are analyzed respectively.Secondly,this paper calculates and analyses the current situation of supply and demand of railway express freight transportation and the energy consumption and CO2 emission of railway transportation by collecting and counting the data of recent years,and combining with relevant calculation methods.Finally,on the basis of summarizing the concepts of network design,transportation network design,express freight service network design and railway express freight service network design,this paper expounds and analyses the characteristics and influencing factors of railway express freight service network design.And this paper introduces the frequency service network design model and dynamic service network design mode,as well as their differences and applicability.?2?Design and optimization of railway express freight transportation service networkFirstly,through the collation and analysis of existing researches,the modeling mechanism of service network is systematically analyzed.Then,a model of railway express freight service network with the best total cost is constructed,and the characteristics of the model are analyzed.Based on these analyses,the branch and bound algorithm is designed to solve the problem.Finally,the optimization results of service network design under different timeliness are compared and analyzed through design examples and solutions.?3?Design and optimization of railway express freight transportation service network under low-carbon backgroundBased on the analysis and introduction of the low carbon related concepts and the influencing factors of carbon emissions,through the introduction of carbon tax mechanism,the carbon emissions will be cost-effective.In order to compare and analyze the impact of carbon emissions on the design of railway express freight service network,considering the impact of carbon emissions,a design model of railway express freight service network considering carbon emissions was built with the objective of minimizing total cost and total carbon emissions.The multi-objective model was solved by TOPSIS decision-making method.?4?Case study and sensitivity analysis of relevant parametersAccording to the characteristics and scale of the model,the validity of the algorithm and the model is verified by designing relevant examples and using MATLAB programming calculation.Sensitivity test and analysis are carried out for the relevant parameters in the model,so as to summarize and analyze the impact of carbon emissions,timeliness and other related factors on the design of railway express freight service network.After analysis,compared with the situation without considering carbon emissions,the total cost of railway express freight transportation increased by 33.2%,but the corresponding carbon emissions decreased by 38.3%and transportation time shortened by 15.2%.Based on the above analysis,this paper summarizes the impact and significance of low-carbon on the service network design of railway express freight transportation.Finally,the shortcomings of this paper in the research process are analyzed,and the problems to be further studied are pointed out.
