With the development of society, urban land resources become scarcer and scarcer, so increasing numbers of high-rise buildings are built in the city. High-rise buildings’safety is concerned by more people. Recent years, high-rise buildings appear tilted and collapsed situation during construction process or operation stage, that bring huge losses to individuals and States. In order to reduce these losses, monitoring high building’s deformation is necessary. Settlement is one of the most important factors about deformation of buildings, designing a dynamic monitoring system to check foundation settlement data, and determine the subsidence of building foundation trends and laws, has dynamic warning function is important in construction and operation process. This project, for the above-mentioned problems of high-rise building foundation subsidence to design a dynamic monitor system based on WSN.System considering high-rise buildings’construction environment is complex, difficult to wiring,the transmission distance of subsidence monitoring points is almost dozens of meters, and the amount of data is large. ZigBee wireless transmission was used. In a State of foundation settlement monitoring, if the subsidence monitoring node linear displacement sensor detects the displacement is over the limit, subsidence monitoring node’s LCD will display alarm information, while overrun and data information will be sent to the routers, the routers then transmit to the coordinator or the information will be sent to coordinator directly. Coordinator then sends the alarm information to, upper computer (PC) through the serial port, upper computer stores data to a database table. Administrators can access PC and get the measured and predicted values of foundation subsidence, and generate data graphs, check early warning center, and so on.This project designed the distribution of high-rise building foundation subsidence monitoring points, designed and implemented lower computer hardware and software, and upper computer systems, based on WSN’s high-rise building foundation subsidence dynamic pre-warning system. Made a demand analysis tojthe system, designed the system’s overall architecture. Made a functional analysis for ZigBee networking equipments, communication equipments, computer system. Introduce the workflow of high-rise building foundation settlement dynamic monitoring system detailedly. System used a modular design thought, designed the hardware devices of high-rise buildings foundation settlement dynamic early-warning system, such as displacement sensor nodes, routing nodes,coordinator nodes, and other ZigBee network devices, then introduced the sensor nodes, routing nodes and coordinator nodes’ software design and operation, meanwhile, designed the ZigBee transmission data format. Finally, based on b/s framework and designed Java Web early-warning system. Used the open source box Hibernate, Struts, and MySQL database. In data processing, using grey model predicts subsidence trends. Java Web distant early warning interface was designed. Make real-time monitoring ground subsidence monitoring points and visual interface alert come true.
