| Preformed pavement marking tape is a new road signs and markings material, Compared with the paint markings which are currently used very widely, it shows unique advantages in pavement performance, especially in removed and altered performance, but compared to the widely used abroad, it is still in the initial stage of development in China and used very less, the understanding to it is also not very full. In this thesis, through the collection of data at domestic and abroad to summarize and analyze, the design and analysis of experiment to the road adhesive property of preformed pavement marking tape, for the widely using of preformed pavement marking tape in China in the future provide theoretical support. The innovation of this thesis is mainly reflected in two aspects:Firstly, through the collection of data from production to pavement using of the tape at domestic and abroad to summarize and analyze, and the use of traditional paint markings, compared and analyzed the two markings from these aspects:classification, composition structure, construction methods, reflective and durability, removed and altered performance, product prices and so on, to further deepen the understanding of preformed pavement marking tape. The followed conclusions were obtained from the contrast:preformed pavement marking tape are more advanced and practical both in molding method and composition structure; it is convenient on construction method, can save more resources and the construction period; it also has good pavement performance; compared with the paint markings, the removed and altered performance is more practical, and efficient without damaging pavement; but it is more expensive than most paint marking products in the price.Secondly, preformed pavement marking tape is bonded to pavement by the pressure sensitive adhesive, the thesis carried out theoretical analysis and experimental study to the bonding effect, it is pointed out that, the adhesion between preformed pavement marking tape and pavement is very complex, it is the result of adsorption theory, electrostatic theory, diffusion theory, mechanical bonding theory and so on. To study the adhesive properties, the thesis adopted 180 peeling test, to the size of the peeling strength as an evaluation index, the test of adhesion adopted three samples of preformed pavement marking tape from different manufacturers in the different surface conditions and environmental conditions, the surface conditions include different material of test board, different roughness and surface cleaning status, the environmental conditions include the changing of temperature and water immersion time. The experiment adopted cement board and rutting board to simulate cement and asphalt pavement. The results showed that:the adhesion of preformed pavement marking tape is closely to the pavement materials, but the traditional evaluation of adhesion is to adopt steel as a medium, compared with pavement materials, it has some differences in bonding mechanism, adhesive properties and destruction type of bonding. Moreover, roughness, clean condition, temperature, have different influences to adhesive properties, although the roughness and temperature generally do not affect the use, but the cleanliness of surface is extremely important to the adhesive properties. In addition, the results also demonstrated:the adhesive properties is not sensitive to water immersion. However, the changes in temperature can cause the changes of destruction type of bonding. |
