The Design And Research On Child Care Places In Commercial Complexes

Children are the hope and future of the motherland, education and counseling of children has always been a hot topic of the society. From the point of view of contemporary child’s living space, in addition to the family and the school two basic form of education, the affection of social public places is also essential for children. In recent years, with the strength of China’s economic and the impact of foreign cultural ideas, commercial space, especially large commercial complex is constantly improving the diversity of its services, and paying more attention on the construction of the services for children. However, due to inexperience and inadequate child safety system, in current commercial environment, there are much unreasonable design problem and safety hazards existing in children’s place.The study of this subject comes from thinking of humane, safety and health of childcare places in commercial complex. First of all, we learn about the development history and current status of related fields. Then, through checking out all kinds of foreign literature, from both of the distribution of the commercial complex and consumer groups to start investigating the children’s place of typical domestic commercial environment, we find that in order to meet the services requirement of a variety of functions, it’s obviously essential for commercial complex to construct distinctive childcare places. Next we suggest that the comparatively large commercial complex in modern city wants to win the trust of consumer in terms of form innovation and comprehensive service, they should pay more attention to the construction of places children to help parents free their hands while shopping and rest assured entrust the child to the care stuff. Finally, through summarizing the theory method of the design of the commercial complex environment for children’s place, combined with the analysis of example, we present the basic principles of designing the modern commercial complex childcare places.Through field research, system integration of theory and practice findings, this paper obtained the importance and feasibility of the childcare places in commercial complex, explored the designed method of the places, identified shortcoming of commercial complex environment children’s places and gave reasonable suggestions. We hope the research can lead the attention of both the area of children education and the designer of commercial complex, and provide useful clues for the construction of commercial complex childcare places. With the development process of children, the advantage of social and public services should be exploited to help them grow up in a safe, comfortable environment.
