In recent years, the state supported vigorously the reform of power system in the intelligent direction. How to realize intelligent equipments and how to realize the communication between intelligent devices, to develop smart grid are main objectives of the study.’Information technology, automation, interactive’is the main features of the smart grid, and informatization is the first feature of the smart grid. The implementation of informatization needs to have the unified communication standard. As a new generation standards of substation automation system based on network communication, it not only solves the problem of intelligent substation in the "isolated island" phenomenon, but also realizes the interchangeability and interoperability between IEDs, facilitating communication possible.The so-called’interchangeability’ refers to the IEDs between different manufacturers are exchangeable without other IED system changed. The so-called’interoperability’refers to the capacity that information can be exchanged between the same or different manufacturers, and the information can be used to collaborative operation. How to achieve the communication network of smart substation is the focus of the present research of the smart grid. As a shining point in the IEC61850 protocol, the role of GOOSE which is used in the field of power system has become increasingly important. GOOSE is one of the GSE’s two structures of message and it is mainly used in the transmission of the information of tripping, blocking state and switches in substation. Through the study and understanding of the IEC61850 protocol, paper has done some research on the realization of GOOSE communication.In the beginning, this paper has done some research on background of IEC61850 and GOOSE and the domestic and foreign research. Then, this paper briefly introduces the IEC61850 protocol, GOOSE message and BER code. At the same time, the implement of GOOSE communication’s hardware and software is designed based on IEC61850.In view of the reliability and real-time of GOOSE, communication part uses the Altera FPGA chip EP4CE22E22I7N and single CPU structure model. At the same time, how to use WinPcap to build the platform of experiment environment of Ethernet was presented. Finally, related experiments were done. Through the experiment, it is proved equipment can realize the basic communication function. At the same time, it meets the real-time and reliability. |
