| With the development of the construction on electric power, it is imperative toimprove the reliability and the quality of the power supply. Smart grid can improvethese problems effectively, and would be the direction of national grid’s developmentin the future. Power Distribution Network faces to the users and is an important part ofsmart grid. Traditional communication protocol which was widely used in PowerDistribution Network can not meet the the needs of the communication in the smartgrid. However, Standard IEC61850which is object-oriented and interoperable, hasbeen developed to be the unified standard in the future smart grid.This paper introduces the Standard IEC60870-5which is widely used nowdays,and compared with Standard IEC61850. After that the paper points out the advantageof IEC61850and introduces the main contents and characteristics of the Standard IEC61850.GOOSE(Generic Objected Oriented Substation Event) is one of the specialcommunication in IEC61850standard, which has the highest require on length of timeand reliability for packet transmission.This paper analyzes the way of GOOSE communication in detail, and it discribesthe four communication systems of the GOOSE protocol, the communication model ofthe GOOSE, the control blocks and its corresponding service. After that the paperanalyzes the GOOSE packets in order to comprehend the packets’ structure.Then the paper analyzes the method of using Winpcap to realize the GOOSEparkets’ communications on PC. The paper also gives the Winpcap capturing packetprinciple, and steps of capturing and contracting packet. After composed the softwarebased on VC++6.0, which can pack and unpack GOOSE package, it realizes theGOOSE parkets’ trasmission and reception on PC, and has verified it throughexperiment.Generally speaking, GOOSE parkets’ communication is used between the smartIEDs, and the IED between the main station. This paper also discusses theimplementation of transmission and reception of GOOSE parkets in smart IED. Aftercomposed the IED by DSP and network chip W5100, the paper describes the W5100chip and CCS, which is the DSP’s software development environment. Byprogramming the software based on CCS to realizes the IED’s function of transmission and reception of GOOSE parkets, the paper analyzes and verifies the parkets based onWireshark. |
