With the development and progress of society, large public facilities in the city such as bamboo shoots after a spring rain as appear in front of us, but in recent years, large buildings collapsed and destroyed It is often seen, events, accident to bring great harm to people’s life and property security. This allows for structural health monitoring has become an urgent need of the whole society. Structural health monitoring system is an important means to guarantee the safety of important engineering structure, is of great significance to the sustainable development of normal play to secure the city and the city function, economy and society.The major construction and implementation of structural health monitoring and life safety monitoring platform designed in this paper, the state information of long-term, real-time monitoring and analysis of large buildings, accurate assessment of the health and life of the structure to take corresponding measures to improve the safe operation level of the major buildings. The main research contents and results are as follows:(1) The Internet of things technology applied to the field of building structure to replace the traditional monitoring means, make the off-line, monitoring intermittent becomes simple, real-time, online. Application of the technology of Internet of things, from the perception layer, transport layer and application layer three aspects of industrialization and information integration, it can automatically collect information and data, a comprehensive perception, reliable transmission, intelligent processing.(2) The building structure health monitoring system based on network technology, can realize the comprehensive management, real-time monitoring, data report, safety evaluation, warning message, video surveillance and provide the function of parameter trend chart; R & D building structure Android smart phone system health monitoring system, the scheme reduces the past through the Internet mode to realize the remote control dependence on PC, due to the portability of smart phones, also make the monitoring and control network system scheme is more humanized and intelligent.(3) Combining with the Huainan Grand Theatre and Henan Zhongmu national agriculture park door scene sign "leading wild goose" project, the establishment of major construction project health condition based maintenance and fault early warning system, to provide real-time, comprehensive monitoring and Analysis on safe operation of construction, it is proved that the system is running well, can reliably for safety early warning architecture structure and develop risk measures provide a theoretical basis for the scientific, reasonable, guiding the construction site, and can provide reference for other similar projects.The urgent demand for the whole society to building structure health monitoring of the life cycle, the design and implementation of health monitoring and life safety monitoring system based on the Internet of things, is of great significance to sustainable development of the city to protect the security and normal use of urban function and economy and society.
