Grid is an organic entirety, the distribution Gird is the part of Grid that connected to the user. Usually the voltage level is low, due to providing power to users directly, the stability of its work determines the power quality of the user side. If there is fault of the distribution System (short circuit or others), users will be threatened by blackouts definitely, so there is a strong will to look for a recovery solution that can quickly locate the point of fault, isolate fault area and supply power for non-fault region. In recent years, the distribution sector made research about the problem in this direction, and achieved some results.Firstly, the paper introduces the development and relevant background of distribution System fault recovery technology, because the distribution Gird’s structure is complex and its node is numerous, both of them are simplified. The paper plans a typical distribution System structure:Two-tree structure, by analyzing the distribution System’s level, and verify the reasonableness of the model by the approach of object-oriented, while the paper analyzed the line network by using intelligent search technology.Power flow calculation is the basis to judge whether a power-supply program is reasonable, based on a hierarchical topology and distribution network, the paper proposed a law using forward-backward substitution algorithm in flow calculation of the distribution System, and analyzed the process after the fault in detail using the results of flow calculation, to improve the timeliness of the power recovery. While according to the problems of the algorithm, the paper proposed improvement measures for forward-backward substitution.Upon completion of the analysis in distribution System’s topology and the flow calculation, the paper mainly studied the mathematical model of minimal cost in distribution System outage and the fast-recovery algorithm of the distribution System based on the theory of fault-recovery tree. According to the actual conditions, we develop a variety of constraints and objective function, they were considered in the calculation, finally the paper got fast-recovery plan. Finally, a numerical example of this distribution System recovery algorithm is calculated to prove its rationality and practicality.
