With the rapid economic development and the people’s living standard has been being improved constantly in China, for 10kV distribution network, power supply function in urban and rural areas is more and more important.Because of the power supply reliability of lOkV distribution network is affected by multiple factors, and even severe fault, so it is very important to ensure the safety operation of electric network that strengthening the research of fault of lOkV distribution network.This paper focuses on the research of fault processing method suitable for lOkV distribution network, providing theoretical support for the construction of lOkV distribution network in the future. The main work in this paper is shown following:Connection modes of 10kV distribution networks are summarized and influence on fault recovery by connection modes is analyzed.Two-phase earthing short circuit characteristics are analyzed and single-phase matrix algorithms suitable for two grounded ways are put forward.A multi-fault recovery algorithm which suits for 10kV distribution networks is put forward. In this paper, the fault recovery area of a multi-fault is divided into many independent fault recovery areas. Two independent fault recovery areas may be connected through a feeder which is called a public feeder. As public feeders exist, fault recovery of independent fault recovery areas may interact with each other. A public feeder is decomposed into many virtual feeders to eliminate the interactions among independent fault recovery areas. Then fault recovery plans of unaided fault recovery areas can be generated by using traditional fault recovery methods. As fault recovery plans of unaided fault recovery areas can be generated in parallel, this method can guarantee fault recovery real-time.On the basis of this theory, this paper designs a lOkV distribution line fault location system,it can obtain the real-time fault information of each substation distribution line,fault location processing platform calculates results fast and carries on grad voice alarm directly.The transmission speed of the system is fast,it can realize the accurate fault location and alarm based on parameters of power network database and assist the operators issued high performance concrete line patrol instructions. It support scheduling operation auxiliary decision system effectively,shorten the line time greatly, reduce the power loss and provide favorable guarantee for the safe and stable operation of 10kV distribution network.
