With the continuous development of society and economy, the environment and energy problems faced by human beings are becoming more and more serious. Currently fossil fuels are still the main energy used by people, but constantly reduce fossil energy reserves, while fossil energy brings serious environmental problems that affect the sustainable development of human society. Environmental problems caused by the burning of fossil fuels and ot her energy sources, such as haze, also seriously affected the normal human life. People began to develop more and more emphasis on renewable energy, and solar energy is one of the renewable energy development faster, technology is relatively mature energy. However, due to the relatively low utilization of solar energy, how to improve the utilization of solar energy is called a focus of research.At present, most of the use of photovoltaic panels for power generation apparatus is fixed, the main content of this paper is a biaxial solar tracking system, using a rotating panels to improve the photovoltaic efficiency. Based on several main tracking method for analysis, this paper hybrid tracking method, which uses a photoelectric tracking and sun position calcul ation tracking mode to track the sun. Optical tracking is used when sunny track mode, sun position calculation tracking mode is used to track clouds weather pattern, with two methods makes the tracking system can be tracked in a variety of weather conditions. In this paper, the sun position calculator calculates the position of the sun, and these values are converted to the control signal to drive the stepper motor rotation. Photoelectric tracking mode is used in the four quadrant detector and photosensitiv e resistance of the photoelectric sensor to track the sun when the sun light.This paper mainly carries on the design to the system hardware, the software as well as the rotation part。The hardware includes: a control part, driving part, the communication part, the power part and the like; the software part includes sun position calculator, the main program and subprogram tracking mode, and after experiments show that the system can improve the power generation efficiency of solar panels.
