| The main engine fuel supply unit is an important part of the ship propulsion system. Its stable and reliable work can affect the safety of the ship and the benefit of the operation. The equipment and control system of the main engine fuel supply unit should work stably and reliably. Meanwhile the marine engineers should be skillful at operating the equipment and can solve the failures timely. Therefore, the training work for the marine engineers about main engine fuel supply unit is crucial. A main engine fuel supply unit simulation system with PLC technology and simulation software is developed in this paper.The composition of the main engine fuel supply unit and the automatic control working process are summarized. Then design the PLC control system of the main engine fuel supply unit, including the hardware selection of PLC and touch panel, developing control program, configuration design of the touch panel. Then build the mathematic model of the main engine fuel supply unit. The mathematic model is the key of the simulation. The mathematic model of the main engine fuel supply unit includes the oil pump model, oil tank model, atomization heater model, throttling element model and PI model. Carry out a detailed description of the modeling method and principle of the main engine fuel supply unit mathematic model. Then develop the two-dimensional simulation software of the main engine fuel supply unit taking full advantage of the GDI+ image processing technology and C# in.NET development environment. The two-dimensional software has simulation operation function, alarm display function, fault setting function, etc. Then establish the three-dimensional model of main engine fuel supply unit with 3dsMax software, and carry out rendering optimization for the three-dimensional model. Then import the three-dimensional model to XNA virtual reality three-dimensional engine, and accomplish the development of the virtual reality of the main engine fuel supply unit. Develop the interactive operation with combining the two-dimensional simulation software with three-dimensional virtual reality. Finally establish the OPC server, develop the communication program of OPC client and realize the real-time communication between the simulation systems operating on PC and PLC.The research results show that the simulation system accords with the actual operation condition of the main engine fuel supply unit onboard. The simulation.system has friendly interface and strong operability. The PLC control system of the simulation system work stably and reliably. The simulation system provides accurate and vivid tools for the training of marine engineers. Meanwhile, it has certain reference value for the research about main engine fuel supply unit. |
