As large energy consumption, construction industry has been researched frequently. According to a survey, 30% of the energy consumption is from buildings in our country and it also in constant growth. Since the end of the 20 th century, it was started building energy conservation work in our country and wall materials will plays an important role in energy conservation and emissions reduction. Developing green wall materials will be the main measures to realize energy conservation and emissions reduction.This research studies on that the diatomite has the characteristics of deodorant, dehumidification and can absorb the formaldehyde and other harmful substances in the air. Using diatomite as the main component of the thermal insulation mortar to development the ecological and environmental protection partition board thermal insulation mortar. By studying the influence of various components to the performance of thermal insulation mortar and by three factors three levels of diatomite thermal insulation mortar L9(33)orthogonal experiment to determine the best mixing proportion. Finally using 25 mm thick diatomite thermal insulation mortar as wire gauze polystyrene sandwich board wipe spray layer and a lot of the research of the mechanical performance of diatomite thermal insulation mortar. Analyzed the excellent properties of this type of partition wall board by sound insulation, fire prevention and environmental protection and finally get the conclusion as follows:(1) Cement can improve the mechanical properties of the thermal insulation mortar. But the heat preservation performance will decline at the same time. Re-dispersible emulsion powder can obviously improve the workability, bonding strength and crack resistance of the mortar. Etherified cellulose can improve the heat preservation performance, crack resistance and bonding strength of the mortar. But the compressive strength and flexural strength of the thermal insulation mortar will decline. Repellent dosage can reduce the saturated water absorption rate and improve the water resistance and water retention of the mortar. When the polypropylene fiber content is 0.2% can obviously improve the flexibility of the thermal insulation mortar. The effect of expanded perlite on the performance of thermal insulation mortar is similar to diatomite. They can improve the heat preservation performance, but the crack resistance and mechanical properties will be reduced.(2) The results for three factors three levels of diatomite thermal insulation mortar L9(33)orthogonal experiment is that the biggest factor for dry density of thermal insulation mortar is Re-dispersible emulsion powder. Diatomite is the biggest factor for flexural strength of the thermal insulation mortar and etherified cellulose is the biggest factor for compressive strength of the thermal insulation mortar.(3) Finally determined the optimal mixing proportion of diatomite thermal insulation mortar is cement content is 25%, 30% dosage of diatomite expanded perlite admixture is 30%, 15% dosage of coarse whiting, re-dispersible emulsion powder content is 4%, etherified cellulose content is 0.3%, repellent dosage content is 0.2%, polypropylene fiber content is 0.2%. According to this proportion the performance of thermal insulation mortar is dry density 430.5kg/m3, flexural strength 0.77 MPa, compressive strength 2.70 MPa, bending and compression strengths proportion 3.41, bonding strength 0.51 MPa, water retention rate 93%, saturated water absorption rate 42%, softening coefficient 0.69, coefficient of thermal conductivity 0.076W/(m·k) and all meet the claim to the thermal insulation mortar in JGJ253-2011. This article also use SEM study the microstructure of thermal insulation mortar.(4) Using diatomite thermal insulation mortar and Wire gauze polystyrene sandwich board combine to make the partition board and analysis of the partition board in doing the sound insulation, fire prevention and environmental protection performance. The results showed that the partition board in the sound insulation effect has reached the level of hospital and school buildings sound insulation standards and partition board belongs to the burning body, fire resistance rating for level 1.This kind of internal partition wall board has the effects of environmental protection. It is the green environmental protection building materials that can absorb the formaldehyde, breathing wet, antibacterial deodorant, produce no harmful gases.
