Based on EPS grain as lightweight aggregate, polystyrene particles insulation pulp which mixed various mineral materials by high content replacement of cement, has the features of high strength, good insulation effect, etc. And it also can realize energy saving and emission reduction on building materials production. Compared with the EPS class insulation plate in the market, new expanded polystyrene granule insulating system in line with the national building materials fire safety standards; on the original foundation, the mechanical strength and other performances are optimized, the building materials will have a share in future market.Based on the proportion of the gelation, The first section put forward the multiple mixture of slag and fly ash, diatomite on cement. Through the orthogonal experiment to discuss the ratio of gelation which based on fly ash and the optimum replacing volume of cement with slag and diatomite was studied by single factor evaluation respectively. In a certain extent, the multiple mixtures of Mineral materials, optimized the performance of inorganic gelling slurry, and is conducive to the recycling of industrial waste.Modified effects on polystyrene particles will affect the overall performance of insulation plate for the most part. Respectively using three kinds of modifier on the polystyrene particles, supplemented by appropriate modification process conditions, solved the "floating" of the polystyrene particles; eventually improve the mechanical strength of insulation plate.Through the effect of polystyrene particles content on water absorption and the coefficient of thermal conductivity of insulation plates, the optimum content of polystyrene particles were determined. Met with the basic mechanical strength of polystyrene particles insulation plate, adjust the polystyrene particle content, optimizing the water absorption and thermal conductivity of insulation plates, make it meet the industry standard for building materials products.Research results show that:at room temperature, diatomite particle size is 0.2-0.15mm, slag and fly ash particle size are less than 0.088 mm, lime particle size is 0.3-0.45mm, gypsum particle size is 0.3-0.45mm, the ratio of inorganic material for diatomite:cement:slag: fly ash:lime:gypsum= 0.91:2.59:1.4:38:0.038, polystyrene particle size is 2-6mm, and its content is 200ml/70g (inorganic material), under the effect of 1.25% PVA solution, make use of the secondary scattered hybrid method and stir 2-3min to obtain samples, the apparent density of sample is 212.35 kg/m3, the flexural strength is 0.5 MPa, the coefficient of thermal conductivity is 0.02363 W/(m-K), water absorption is 13.6%.
