Study On Intelligent Traffic Signal Control Based On Embedded System

With the continuous improvement of people’s living quality, domestic cars in the rapid increase, urban traffic pressure is more and more big, the large and medium-sized city traffic congestion problem increasingly prominent. In this context, the traffic become important in people’s life. From the Angle of vehicle and road system integrated, selects the intelligent traffic management system has become the effective way to solve the problem of traffic congestion, and intelligent traffic control machine is an intelligent traffic management system indispensable key components, therefore, this topic for intelligent traffic signal control machine based on embedded system research.In this paper, in combination with the research status of traffic signal control machine at home and abroad, designed a kind of intelligent traffic signal control machine based on embedded system. Modular design concept, its hardware circuit AT91RM9200 microprocessor as the core, external information collection, human-computer interaction, the network communication and equipment debugging four circuit module. System software design main hardware system, to realize the collection condition selection, parameter identification, information, operation parameters, traffic control signal output. The intelligent traffic signal control machine has the real-time collection of traffic information, real-time traffic lights light up time modulation, a single intersection traffic intelligent control, traffic intersections and real-time data transmission between the command center, and other functions. Using Lab VIEW software for intelligent traffic information management system simulation, visually simulate the condition of intersection traffic, more clear for traffic management center research and analysis of individual traffic intersections provides the basis for actual state.
