As China’s economic development and people’s living standards improve, the domestic car ownership on the rise year by year, and now China has become the car using a large country. Using cars have bring our lives a lot of convenience and resulting problems as well that should be solved urgently, the energy crisis and environmental pollution has become a must face problem. The car do not consume non-renewable natural and not exhaust emissions electric has won a mounting number of people’s favor. Now China’s electric vehicle development is still in its infancy, electric vehicle battery technology and motor drive technology is a hot topic at present electric car development. This paper will research and design the drive system of permanent magnet synchronous motor using in electric vehicle.In order to better achieve the design of electric vehicle motor drive system, this paper analyzes the energy conversion in the case of electric vehicle operating conditions and driving process, and determines performance indicators needed to the vehicle based on mathematical models of electric vehicle power systems, then determines the parameters required for permanent magnet synchronous motor. For the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor, this paper develops a control strategy combined with vector control and 0di =.In this paper, the basic principle of vector control are analyzed in detail, conventional voltage space vector modulation algorithm must first carry out a sector calculations, then the complex trigonometric, irrational number calculations, so that the real-time control accuracy has been greatly affected. To solve this problem we propose a sector-free division modulation algorithm based on three vector synthesis. By synthesis the two axis component of space vector of two-phase stationary coordinates, this algorithm eliminates sector calculation, trigonometric calculations. Compared with the conventional modulation methods, this algorithm is easier to be digital implementation,and the real-time control is also improved.Depending on the selected control strategy, we built a double closed loop structure hardware system of permanent magnet synchronous motor, IPM as the motor power drive module, and design the adapter driver circuit in accordance with IPM performance and parameters; design the controller on the motherboard with the Infineon 32 DSP as the core, including the DC-DC power supply system, CPLD-based hardware protection system, the sampling module, rotor angular position and speed monitoring module with AD2S1200 for decoding chip, and CAN communication module.Finally, suiting the hardware platform, we using TC1782 unique general purpose timer array module complete voltage space vector algorithms, designing the main program and interrupt procedures for controller. After debugging analysis, the controller can output the correct SVPWM waveform that validated the correctness of proposed control algorithm and the design conformed to the requirements of electric vehicle drive technology...
