With the rapid development of automobile industry, cars bring great convenience to people’s daily lives, but the frequent traffic accidents which threat people’s lives and safety let us shocking. The security issues of the car have become the focus of attention. Only a few luxury cars was configured with vehicle safety warning systems which are not configured in most of cars. Therefore, it needs to design a car security system which is low cost and can be adapted to a variety of models of cars. Automobile collision system has very high application value and good economic prospects which can help to reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents, reduce the number of casualties and economic losses.By reference to the relevant literature, this paper proposes a solution to design an automobile collision system, in order to solve the above problem. The system which has the different protected mode between highway and city road, imposes comprehensive security protection for cars, with voice alarm and active brake functions. By reference to a variety of automotive safety model, the safety car model used in this system has been proposed to reduce the system false alarm rate, which can automatically use different car security model in different vehicle running state.According to the demand of automobile collision system, this paper has completed the selection of sensors in the system, achieved the system hardware design, debugged the PCB boards and completed the system software design. Finally, functional verification test of the collision system was performed and the experimental results show that the automotive anti-collision system can achieve the expected design requirements.
