As urban upgrading of industrial transformation and the improvement of the urban functional partition, many large cities have built large population import area, but the distance between residents living house and working distance is so far. In order to relieve urban population into the urban traffic congestion problem, more and more cities begin to build regional rail transit lines.For Railway Transit Lines, connecting urban and suburb area, due to traffic tides on time also pit and outbound passenger flow is uneven on a multipoint space. If still using connective stop operation mode is very unreasonable. Railway Transit Lines is longer than traditional ones, stations distance is also very long between every stations, usually have to transfer in downtown. Therefore, it is necessary according to the characteristics of Railway Transit Lines and actual passenger traffic demand, then formulate reasonable operation scheme.This paper is based on train over-takings combination operation scheme of Shanghai rail transit with intensive study. Summarized up, the main research content of this paper is as follows:(1) Analyzing the influence factors of Rail Transit Operation scheme, including the selection and organization of the vehicle, track the operation ratio of time interval, operation ratio of express train and ordinary train, the line and allocation quantity of cross station, turn-back capacity analysis.(2) The selection of regional rail transit operation scheme evaluation. Refer to traditional railway operation scheme evaluation index, questionnaire survey, or expert interviews, sorting out evaluation index of regional transit operation scheme.(3)Establishing and solving optimization model. Through preliminary simulation to current operation scheme, point out something need to improve by collative evaluation index. According passenger flow characteristics of regional rail transit to design multi-objective optimization design model, which would choose appropriate algorithm to solve.(4)Use Line 16 of Shanghai Metro as actual case, solving the optimized stop scheme by multi-objective optimization model established already. Then, illustrating operation diagram with OPENTRACK, derived and proved the feasibility of operation ratio for ―express-slow train‖, finally figure out a more economic operation scheme.
