Study On Field Strength Of Masonry Mortar And Test Method Based On The Properties Of Water Absorption

For a long time, sintered clay brick is used in masonry material as the main wall materials in China, In order to meet the demand of the enormous quantity of sintered brick detection and identification of existing buildings, we have compiled of GB/T50315<masonry construction site detection technology standards>. With the popularization and application of new materials, non-sintered brick has been widely used, studying mortar strength and detection method of non-sintered brick has very important practical value.We have single absorption test on sintered clay brick, Autoclaved fly ash brick and Autoclaved sand-lime brick. By Absorption test of brick on four different moisture content on the wall (0%,4%,8% and 10%), we have researched the relationship between water absorption per unit area and time, and the use of Capillary Absorbent dynamics formula, we get the relationship between the unit area of water absorption and the square root of time, put forward the concept of water absorption index S and relationship between relative water content on the wall of brick and water absorption index, and combined with the existing research results, through regression analysis, we get the calculation formula of water absorption index on different bricks of different moisture content on the wall.We build 12 masonry by using sintered clay brick, Autoclaved fly ash brick and Autoclaved sand-lime brick and strength grade of mortar M2.5, M5, M10, and do rebound method test, then the cylinder-pressure test after curing.By on-site testing on masonry, we establish test method of rebound method and cylinder pressure of non-sintered brick mortar strength, and get the masonry mortar strength formula of corresponding on-site detection method.The establishment unified expression of water absorption index of brick and the field strength of masonry mortar.
