Policy of wall reformation on energy conservation and soil-saving was put forward by our country with the implementation of our sustainable development policy in China. As for this purpose, masonry structure committee of China standardization association formulated Technical Code for Masonry Structure of Autoclaved Flyash-lime Brick to widely spread the use of autoclaved flyash-lime brick. Through the test and research on straight-line shear and shear-compression combination of autoclaved flyash-lime solid brick and perforated brick masonry, this trial set up a foundation for the formulation of Technical Code for Masonry Structure of Autoclaved Flyash-lime Brick, so as to widely spread and use autoclaved flyash-lime brick.Result of the test analysis shows:â‘ Straight-line shear strength of autoclaved-lime brick masonry of the common mortar is much higher than the value in the Code. The straight-line shear strength of solid brick masonry is increased in a large range; while the straight-line shear strength of perforated brick is increased in a small range. The mean value formula of straight-line shear of perforated brick masonry is obtained according to the regression of test data in this paper.â‘¡Straight-line shear strength of autoclaved-lime brick masonry of special mortar is much higher than that of the common mortar. The shear strength of mortar masonry with the thickness of 0.5cm is higher than that o f the mortar with the thickness of 1cm. The straight-line formula of autoclaved-lime brick masonry of special mortar is derived according to the regression analysis.â‘¢The correlative law of shear-compression combination of autoclaved-lime brick masonry is basically as the same as that of the common fired masonry. The regression value obtained through the regression analysis of shear-compression combined test data of autoclaved-lime brick masonry is much higher than that of the value in the Code, however, the shear-compression combined strength of autoclaved-lime perforated brick masonry is always lower than that of the solid brick.
