Study On Landscape Patterns Of The Ecological Corridor In Hefei City Region

With the rapid development of the city, the city is filled with too many concrete structures, people living in deteriorating environment. People’s irrational development and utilization in the urban development process results in lost of natural element and only less vegetation patches remained in city area. Therefore, to improve the ecological environment of the city, increasing the rate of urban greening, urban ecological corridor construction is particularly important.Based on the principle of landscape ecology, Daog、ArcGiS、Erdas、Google Earth and other software were employed to make an analysis on landscape ecological corridors and its network structure in this paper. For the structural characteristics of the network, such as nodes and attached nodes on corridor, green heart, green backbone of the corridor, the internal structure of the road green corridor are analyzed as well for analysis and research. Research area covers 11429.68 km2, of which the urban area of about 925 k2 (including Chaohu Lake water area of 72.93 km). Conclusions are as follows:(1) The three kinds corridor were classified in the Hefei city, Gray corridor, blue and green corridor. Corridor with a total area of 984.45 km2, accounting for 8.6% of the study area; Gray corridors, corridor blue, green corridor accounted for 38.14%,10.15%,51.71% of the total corridor area respectively; Visible the green corridor area is the largest, where the green corridor of road reaches to 15040.28 km in long, and covers area of 416.79 km2, the density of 1.32 km/km’2. Whether length, area, or density for the green corridor of road, they are all greater than that of the river green corridor. Among the ring park corridor in the inner city accounted for only 3.88% of the total area of green corridors; Although the area of green network is 864.82 km2, and occupied only 8% of the total area of the city, but it plays a very important role in improving ecological condition; For the whole green network, the area of green corridor is the largest (509.1 km2), then that of node (310.33 km2) and green heart (45.39 km) in order.(2) Based on classification of county, the area of road green corridor was: Changfeng county (58.72 km2)> Fei dong county (40.42 km2)> Lujiang county’ (29.83 km2)> Chaohu county (26.73 km2)> Feixi county (21.4 km2); the area of river green corridor occupies 11.9% of a total area of green corridor in Lujiang county, and then Changfeng county (7.6%)、Feixi county (6.6%)> Feidong county (5.8%)、 Chaohu county (5.4%) in order river green corridor density for all counties is lower, but the dense of road green corridor in Changfeng County is 1.69, and higher than that of others.(3) The measured results for building rate of green corridors in every counties (the length of green corridor/the total road length or river) showed that the rate for road is generally higher than the that of river’s, and based on classification of counties: Feidong county is at the highest (0.94), then Changfeng county (0.82)、Chaohu county (0.8)、Lujiang county (0.78)、Feixi county (0.6); On the other hand the construction rate for river green corridor is generally low, even more than half of river corridor in the counties have not attached green strip.(4)In Hefei area, the structure of green corridor network in the whole indicated that the ratio of line to node was 1.142, circuitry 0.231, connectivity 0.542. thus the green network structure is not perfect, affecting the ecological effects of the green corridor. By contrast, the network structure for backbone corridor is more complex such as its ratio of line to node for road and river was 1.28,1.18 respectively; circuitry0.32、0.33, connectivity 0.59、0.61.(5) In the study area, a total 1220 of nodes in the whole corridors was identified. of which:the 1035 of nodes was accounted in road corridor, which was 84.84% of the total number of nodes; river corridor has less nodes, only 181 was acounted In addition, the total node area of the green corridor is, is 310.33 km2, reached to 2.72% of study area. In general, the area for most nodes along road is smaller, except some overpass node on the main roads have more larger area.(6) Green corridor Hefei There are total 292 attached node in whole green corridor, with a total area of 45.39 km2, their area ranges from 0.008 km2 to 3.069 km2, while the average area of 0.157 km2. Among them, the green heart of road is larger than that of river’s, which accounts for about 77.37% of.the total area of green heart.(7) Based on study on the structure of cross section of green corridor and their planting configuration in the both of first class and secondary roads in the study area, the most are two plates three tape-based, and mostly using native tree or shrub species to make multiple layers planting pattern, also in some cases exotic tree species were employed. The green belt in middle of road as separate is wider than green strip of road side usually, and the later has usually simple planting structure with only single tree layer.
