With the continuous development of Chinese national economy, civil engineering construction technology continues to improve, and modern high-rise building develops toward the direction of complexity and functional diversification. Cast-in-situ concrete structure constructed by adopting tall template support system in the building construction project has been widely applied, in which steel scaffolding support system is often used in high-formwork system, but the stability of the carrying capacity of high-formwork’s internal-frame support system is a difficult problem in the construction.Compared with ordinary formwork support system, tall formwork support system has the following features. In high-formwork construction technology, the current technical regulations regarding the construction of such template projects are relatively lacking;body design and construction specifications of steel scaffolding frame template support system are relatively incomplete, and only some relevant structural requirements are put forward for the frame body diagonals; requirement to deepen the computation is not designed; the construction process relies heavily on engineering experience, coupled with reasons including ground foundation subsidence and improper design, calculation and construction management measures, leading to the common occurrence of major accidents like the collapse caused by the instability of frame body support system.Therefore, how to effectively prevent the instability of high-formwork’s internal-frame carrying capacity is one of the key technical issues in the construction. This paper conducts several studies in the following areas by combining the site investigation of a practical project and using finite element analysis software SAP2000.(1) This paper reviews the study of domestic and foreign researchers on steel tubular scaffolding and formwork support project, and briefly analyzes the causes and failure characteristics of the instability of internal-frame carrying capacity of tall template fastening steel.(2) Combining with rod frame body force calculation method recommended by specifications, this paper comprehensively conducts theoretical analysis on the maximum loading capacity of tall template internal-frame support system.(3) Combining a high-formwork engineering example, from various aspects including construction requirements, technology ensuring conditions, construction plans and so on, it is the actual implementation and application in practical engineering applications.(4) Aiming at the influence of the change of structural factors, like vertical distance,horizontal distance, step distance, length of vertical rod past the top, distance between vertical and horizontal scissors reinforcing layers in the tall template support system of this project, on the stable capacity of steel tubular internal-frame with invariable geometry system.(5) By combining with the results and analysis of the finite element software and on-site data monitoring, it is obtained that in order to ensure the stability of the carrying capacity tall template steel tubular internal-frame support system, attention should be paid to the issues and rational recommendations in the specific design and construction.(6) It is necessary to really analysis the influence of various structural factors in tall template steel tubular internal-frame support system on the stability of carrying capacity,and to take positive and effective measures in actual construction and in strict accordance with the relevant norms and procedures, so as to ensure construction safety.
