Study On Safety Protection Techniques For Large-Scale Gantry Crane

On the engineering background of 2,000 tons gantry crane equipped by Southern Engineering Equipment Company, C hina Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group CO., LTD, and according to national design rules, relevant experience of internal and external safety protection designs, this article researches the safety protection technology to meet the safety and reliability requirements under working conditions of 2,000 tons gantry crane.From the crane overload limiter working p rinciple, the article analyzes the performance indicators and proposes selection principle of the overload limiter, and then gives application performance analysis to the selected overload limiter, basing on particular working conditions.From measurement method of the crane lifting height and the specific requirements, the selection of double-reel, single winding design lifting device and the calculating method of the double reel hook lifting height are given, and the lifting height limit protection and the protection of wire rope are summarized.The article roundly analyzes the safety protection technology of the large gantry crane, and gives performance analysis and application evaluation to overload limiter, lifting height limiter, lifting devices, cranes state correction system as well as detection and management system form the point of engineering applications.This paper can provide reference for the industry in the application of security technology and selection and use of security equipment.
